PRANARA is derived from the Hindi language. 'Prana' meaning 'life force' and 'Ara' meaning 'tool' or 'wheel', translating as 'a tool that imparts lifeforce'. The origin of the brand name is also rooted in my name, 'Prana' from 'Pranati' that means 'Prayer' and 'Ra' from my surname 'Prakash' meaning 'Light'. Hence deriving the brand philosophy: To use gemstones as tools to drive the 'prana - life force' and bring more light to life. 

As the founder, I strongly recommend using these precious stones found in the crust of Earth to create frequencies of love and harmony in your environment. My relationship with gemstones goes back in time when my mother would make me wear an 'emerald' as it was suggested to her by an astrologer. I remember sitting in that shop that belonged to a guy named 'Shiva' for hours and buying the two pieces along with little souvenirs like a 'turquoise necklace' and more. 

A few years later I turned to those precious stone during my meditation sessions post my research on the healing powers of these stones and since then I have been an advocate for these beautiful colourful pieces of treasure found in the crust of mother Earth and wish to provide a platform to get the best of these gemstones in multiple forms.
