Our tageline: Bringing Cosmic Energies Together

PRANARA was originally suggested by my dear friend Lemii, inspired by my name, Pranati Rai Prakash. While the name immediately resonated, for me as an Indian, the 'sandhi-vicched' (the breaking of a word into its meaningful parts) happened the next second, making it: Prana + Ra.

Inspired by two ancient sources of energy—Prāṇa, the Sanskrit word for life force, and Ra, the sun deity symbolizing light, vitality and creation—the name PRANARA came to embody the essence of my beliefs and vision.

Together, they represent the essence of our philosophy: life illuminated.

Rooted in a lifelong fascination with gemstones and their symbolism across cultures, PRANARA creates jewellery and accessories that serve as a reminder of the energy, beauty and light that already exist within us.
